Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Awesome: the feeling of getting back on the treadmill again after way too long of a break. Hello, old friend, we meet again.
Awkward: the feeling of getting back on the treadmill again after way too long of a break. Hello jello legs and useless mush muscles, I see you're back as well!

Awesome: Blake as Captain Underpants:
Awkward: this picture of Blake wearing not one, but two pairs of underwear. Sorry future Blake, but you were mighty proud of yourself this day!

Awesome: FINALLY beating level 65 of Candy Crush Saga after what I'd guess was a good four hundred failed attempts over the past two or three weeks. The family rejoiced together let me tell you.
Awkward: you all now knowing about my little addiction to Candy Crush Saga. It's beyond ridiculous guys. I'm so ashamed...

Awesome: Making it to the gas station when you realize you're this low and still 6 miles away. Air high-fives all around!
(Just pretend you don't see that bright red brake lamp warning light. It's the route I've taken so far.)
Awkward: the number of times I find myself in this exact situation, which as we all know, doesn't always end so successfully!

Awesome: 19 pounds of weight loss since the beginning of January. Slow and steady wins the race!
Awkward: the period of time halfway towards your weight loss goal when you don't yet fit into your "skinny" clothes but you no longer fit in your "DEFINITELY NOT SKINNY" clothes so you end up wearing an awful lot of skirts and leggings instead. *waves hello from that awkward place* Hi!

  1. Blake has good form even in 2 pairs of undees
18 lbs wow..and back on the treadmill...rapidly becoming my hero....heroine?

    1. Teri! You're still logged in as me!!

  2. 19 lbs?!?! Go Jodi!! That is awesome!!

  3. 19 lbs! Wow!! Great job! I am going to have to check out Candy Crush Saga now, because you have already been 2 for 2 on the awesomeness of Downton Abbey and Draw Something. :)

  4. Just a a shop your closet for your 'too big' clothes. I am eyeballing a few pie as that l would love myself.

    1. Hmmm, I will have to think about that! Usually I save my stuff to take to the clothing swaps my friend hosts twice a year but I could see this being fun! (Once I figured out how the heck to do it ;)
