What I Wore Wednesday

10.24.2012

Last Wednesday
Thrifted dress, Old Navy cardy (yard sale), thrifted Gap jeans, thrifted flats.

Thursday
REI vest (clothes swap), Old Navy gingham shirt and long sleeve tee, thrifted Target jeans, Ugg cardy boots (Nordstrom), Wet Seal necklace (gift).

Friday
Target vest & jeans, Shade tee, Walmart boots, Maurice's bracelet.

Saturday
Target dress, thrifted belt, Walmart leggings & boots.

Monday
Maurice's sweater, Modbod tee (Costco), Target jeans, Walmart boots, Fred Meyers necklace.

Tuesday
Target sweater & booties, Old Navy shirt, thrifted Target jeans, Claire's necklace.

Lesson of the week: don't wear a down vest and Ugg boots for a day out grocery shopping without checking the forecast. Just because it's 37 degrees at 8:00 am doesn't mean it won't warm up to 70 by noon and you WILL want to die.

  1. Cute outfits! I have that same Target dress and I LOVE it. How about you? I never belted mine though...that's a good idea.

    1. They are the Mossimo skinny jean, fit #6 (the ones folded against the wall). I think in the past couple of years I've bought 4 pair!

  4. Love both of your puffy vest looks...so cute! The gray one especially..it looks great with the green tee. And we are having similar weather here...chilly in the morning and warmer by the afternoon. It is supposed to be almost 80 today!

  6. Visited last week and I'm back from WIWW. My goodness, these outfits are SUPER, SUPER cute! I have a white sweater similar to the one you're wearing, and never thought to layer it that way. Love the puffy vest (now I'm going to be on the lookout for one), but especially love that so many items are thrifted. :)

  7. I love reading your WIWW posts! :) You have the best outfits. I have been looking for an inexpensive pair of boots and I loveee the ones you have on from Walmart. I hadn't thought to look at Walmart but I'm so glad I saw yours! I was looking online and they have a ton of boot options. Do you know which ones you bought? :)

    1. I just looked online to see if mine were still on there and they're not - they are 3 years old! I'm surprised by how many cute options they do have though! (In between the not so cute ones ;)

  15. cute outfits as usual. I love the thrifted dress from Wednesday and I LOVE the white sweater from Monday. With the black underneath it just pops. You gotta love transitional times of year when you never know what to wear because the weather changes throughout the day.
